Windmill Simple Checking – our free checking account with option to earn interest

    • $100 to open an account, no ongoing minimum balance requirements
    • Unlimited check writing;
    • Earn an interest rate on your account balance up to $25,000.00 by meeting these cost-saving requirements every statement cycle:

– 12 debit card transactions posted per statement cycle
– 1 Direct Deposit or 1 Direct Withdrawal posted per statement cycle
– Receive e-statements only

Golden Checking – a free checking account for customers ages 55 and above

  • $100 to open an account, no ongoing minimum balance requirements
  • Unlimited check writing
  • No interest paid on balances

NOW Account – an interest-earning checking account for those who maintain higher balances

  • $1,000 to open an account
  • A service charge of $10.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in the account falls below $1000.00.
  • $0.25 will be charged for each debit transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer or payment out of this account) in excess of 20 during a statement cycle.
  • Interest earned on account balances of any amount

Health Savings Account – an interest earning checking account to be used exclusively for out-of-pocket medical expenses associated with a high deductible health plan.

  • $100 to open an account
  • You must be enrolled in a high deductible health plan to qualify
  • Tax-free deposits can be made to cover qualified medical expenses
  • Interest earned on account balances of any amount

Money Market


Money Market Account – earn higher levels of interest with this account

  • $1,000 to open an account
  • A service charge of $10.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the account balance falls below $1000.00
  • You may make six (6) transfers from your account each four (4) week or similar period, if by preauthorized or automatic transfer; or telephone (including data transmission) agreement order or instruction; or by check, draft, debit card or similar order (including point of service transactions), made by the depositor and payable to third parties. An excessive withdrawal fee of $5.00 will be charged for each transaction in excess of these limitations.
  • Transfers and withdrawals made in person, by messenger, by mail or at an ATM are unlimited with no charge.
  • Interest earned on account balances of any amount

MCC Foundation Money Market Account – support Morgan Community College Foundation, and earn interest on your account balance

    • $1,000 to open an account
    • A percent of interest earned on the account is donated to the MCC Foundation
    • A service charge of $10.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in the account falls below $1000.00
    • You may make six (6) transfers from your account each four (4) week or similar period, if by preauthorized or automatic transfer; or telephone (including data transmission) agreement order or instruction; or by check, draft, debit card or similar order (including point of service transactions), made by the depositor and payable to third parties. An excessive withdrawal fee of $5.00 will be charged for each transaction in excess of these limitations.

  • A service charge of $3.00 will be imposed every quarter if the balance in the account falls below $300.00 any day of the quarter
  • $1.25 will be charged for each debit transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer or payment out of this account) in excess of 6 during the quarter.
  • You may make six (6) transfers from your account each four (4) week or similar period, if by preauthorized or automatic transfer; or telephone (including data transmission) agreement order or instruction; or by check, draft, debit card or similar order (including point of service transactions), made by the depositor and payable to third parties. An excessive withdrawal fee of $5.00 will be charged for each transaction in excess of these limitations.

  • Minor Savings Account – a savings account designed for youth, ages birth to 18

        • $25 to open an account

        • $1.25 will be charged for each debit transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer or payment out of this account) in excess of 6 during the quarter.
