Welcoming Donny Edson to the FMS Bank Board of Directors

We’re pleased to welcome Donny Edson to the FMS Bank Board of Directors. Donny brings an analytical background and hands-on approach to leadership, as well as entrepreneurial spirit and a deep commitment to community care.

Donny is the Executive Vice President and Partner at Smirks LTD, a leading importer of natural and organic food ingredients into the U.S., where he has spent the past 16 years helping guide operations and growth. Earlier in his career, he worked in culinary arts, managing Buca Di Beppo restaurants as a General Manager and Chef. He holds degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University.

Beyond his professional work, Donny and his family are deeply invested in Fort Morgan and the surrounding region. His family owns and operates the Cover 4 Theater and manages a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. He currently serves as President of the Morgan Community College Foundation Board and is the President and co-founder of the Morgan County Junior Golf Association, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring kids in Morgan County can access golf regardless of financial barriers. The organization supports hundreds of youth each year through clinics, camps, lessons, equipment, and travel opportunities.

Drawn to FMS Bank’s active role in the community, Donny is excited to contribute his passion for business, analysis, and local impact. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa and daughters Abby and Riley, cooking, traveling, and golfing.
